A former banker who also worked at the UN, the University of Pennsylvania graduate now devotes her time to philanthropy, with children's education in China and an orphanage in Cambodia among her causes. Irene serves on the Lincoln Centre China Advisory Council, and has helped launch fundraising efforts for Habitat for Humanity. She has also led fundraising for the China Studies Centre at Oxford.
Born in Hong Kong and the holder of an MBA from Canada’s University of Windsor, Viola is a director of PuraPharm Corporation. She was chairman of the board of directors of the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals (2012-2013) and is currently an adviser to the group and chairman of the Tung Wah College council.
The principal of the Jean M. Wong School of Ballet and JMW for Arts, Jean is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Dance and has been an appointed examiner since 1965. She is also an honorary adviser to the Hong Kong Ballet and the Hong Kong Dance Company, and received a Bronze Bauhinia Star in 2007.
