Last week, Philippine Tatler celebrated its 10th anniversary, a great and important milestone for the leading chronicler of luxury lifestyles, in the Philippines with a much-anticipated ball at the Shangri-la Makati Hotel
After champagne cocktails at the Mezzanine, the ladies in their elegant ball gowns and men in black tie proceeded to the ballroom which was filled with beautiful arrangements of exotic flowers in shades of red, pink and purple and 300 specially made Votive candles in Philippine Tatler’s signature scent.
This year’s ball brought a touch of Spain to the wonderful menu with dishes such as souffle de Manchego with aged Iberico ham and a succulent roasted lomo de cordero, all complemented by fine wines from Chile.
A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Philippine Tatler awards given to exemplary members of society, this year the recipient of the awards are:

Charitable Force: Susana Madrigal
Most Stylish Lady: Hindy Weber-Tantoco
Creative Force: Kenneth Cobonpue
Distinguished couple: Jun and Lisa Bayot
Major partners for the magnificent 10th Philippine Tatler Ball were Century Properties, Mercedes Benz, Smart Infinity and Visa.
As always, the most fulfilling part of Philippine Tatler’s celebration was the substantial amount of funds raised for charity, this time Philippine Tatler raised enough to build 60 houses for the ball’s beneficiary, Habitat for Humanity Philippines.
