With the intention of raising funds for the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, internationally renowned pianist Yuja Wang, attended the event and performed for the guests present. Wang is widely recognized as one of the most important artists of her generation, she was in Hong Kong for two weeks where she treated audiences to four peformances of two remarkable concertos with the orchestra, all conducted by Jaap van Zweden, the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra's director of music. Guests included Janice Choi, Sabrina Fung-Lam, and Kevin Lam to name a few.
