The who's who of Hong Kong high society came out in support of Bring Me A Book Hong Kong's (BMABHK) annual gala dinnner. This year’s gala dinner celebrated the literacy charity’s tenth anniversary and the theme was green, glitter and gold, and was inspired by the children’s book Our Giving Tree. Guests enjoyed a sumptous dinner before taking part in both a live and silent auction with a few of the luxurious lots donated from Chopard and Cindy Chao.
Founded in 2006 by Su Lee Chen and her husband James Chen, Bring Me A Book Hong Kong (BMABHK) is a non-profit organisation that was established to serve children who do not have access to quality books and who are not read aloud to on a regular basis. In the past ten years, BMABHK has installed 355 libraries, served 150,000 children and trained over 20,000 parents and teachers to read aloud effectively through its ‘First Teachers Training’ program.
