Louis Vuitton chose Hong Kong as the first stop for its highly anticipated Time Capsule exhibition, which charts the French label’s history, because it coincides with the arrival of two historic landmarks for the city itself—the 20th anniversary of the Hong Kong handover and the 25th anniversary of the Le French May arts festival. Visitors to the exhibition will see some of the most valuable pieces from the Louis Vuitton archive, pieces that demonstrate the innovative and luxurious approach to design taken by the brand since its founding in 1854. To celebrate the arrival of the exhibition, Louis Vuitton hosted an invitation-only cocktail party attended by a stellar collection of friends, fashionistas and VIPs. The exhibition is open daily until May 14, 2017. Admission is free.
