The theme at this year’s annual gala celebrating the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art highlighted talent from the Far East – "China: Through The Looking Glass." The evening brought together a mix of Chinese stars such as Zhang Ziyi, Carina Lau, and Fan Bing Bing, plus Hollywood entertainment figures, and pioneers of the fashion industry. Notable socialites in attendance were Veronica Chou, whose father, Silas was an Honourary Chair at this year's gala, and Edward Tang, son of David Tang.
