After the success of the Out of Africa gala dinner last year, Project C:Change, The Elephant Society and the Jane Goodall Institute Hong Kong organised the Hope for Wildlife gala dinner at the Island Shangri-La. The guest of honour was Jane Goodall who was joined by Daniel Ole Sambu, a Maasai warrior and conservationist from the Big Life Foundation. Artist and activist, Sean Lee-Davies, the founder of Project C:Change acted as emcee for the evening with the highlight of the night being the fireside chat that was hosted by Lee-Davies with Goodall and Ole Sambu. Goodall even demonstrated her chimpanzee greeting call and the entertainment for the evening included a performance by Grammy-award winning singer Howard McCary and a special performance of “Heal The World” by the Hong Kong-based Vienna Boys Choir Academy Concert Choir. A live auction and raffle also took place throughout the evening and notable guests included Olivia Lee-Davies, Jill Gallie, Che-Hung and Lilian Leong, Claudine Ying, Stephen King, Charlotte Hwang and Aron Harilela.
