In a world where coffee culture seems to reign supreme, Nana is on a mission to make tea hot again—one cup at a time. Recognising the disconnect between traditional tea shops and afternoon high tea at hotels, she opened contemporary tea house Teakha in 2011 in a quiet corner of Sheung Wan on Tai Ping Shan Street—long before it became the trendy area it is today.

Four years later she expanded, opening the more spacious Teakha Kitchen in Sai Ying Pun. The young entrepreneur strives to foster a sense of community through her work, supporting emerging local talent and looking for new ways to bring people together. Earlier this year Nana launched Plantation, a collection of 14 craft teas sourced from small plantations around the world.
