The beauty entrepreneur takes us through her typical week, and where we may be lucky enough to find her outside of the office

Underneath the glamour, Helen Ma is just an ordinary girl with extraordinary taste. In between business meetings about her multiple beauty ventures and being a mother – Ma can be found by the pool, hiking up the Peak, or perched above the city at Sevva watching the world go by:

If I’m not stuck in a meeting you can usually find me working by the pool – there’s something so peaceful and calm about being outside and near water.

My favourite coffee is at Starbucks – unoriginal, I know, but they never disappoint.

I have two favourite cocktails: either an espresso martini at MO Bar in the Landmark Mandarin Oriental or a cooling gin & tonic at Sevva, one of my favourite hangouts.

I loathe the gym so when it comes to exercising I like to hike up to the Peak maybe three or four times a week.

When I need to unwind – I head to Evidens de Beauté for a great massage from my favourite Thai masseuse.

Whenever it comes to splurging – travel is my main indulgence.

I’m all about a tropical vacation and being by the beach, I’m dying to visit Bhutan or Vietnam, they are at the top of my list for my next getaway.

My guilty pleasure includes French fries and chocolate (I’m human afterall!) and The Upper House makes both perfectly.

When it comes to glamour or taking care of my hairKim Robinson is my go-to man.

Favourite places to eat would have to be Café Gray Deluxe at the Upper House or having a relaxing dinner with good friends at Sevva

Above all else – if I’ve been away for a while, you’ll always find me at home doing my best to keep my daughter Shyme entertained.
