The Hong Kong native and founder of Knotti speaks to us about her favourite places around the city

Hong Kong is no stranger to harm caused by environmental or social issues – but turning our focus to the fashion industry, Denise Ho is keen to tackle a problem that seems to be global, the issue of waste and the short product life cycle of garments that are a direct result of the rise of fast-fashion industry and low manufacturing costs, often resulting in poorly-made clothing.

Having recently launched Knotti, Denise tells us of her love for Hong Kong and why she’s proud to call it her home, along with her favourite places around the city:

Living and working in Hong Kong affords you the priviledge of being in an efficient city, plus I find the people from Hong Kong are always genuinely helpful.

I love to eat everything other than chicken, the places I frequent include One Harbour Road at the Grand Hyatt, Tiger Curry and Sushi Fukusake.

My favourite cocktail is an Old Fashioned – you can find the best one at Lily & Bloom for sure.

I love keeping fit – I try to go to hot yoga whenever I have the chance and I also enjoy a game of tennis.

I have always loved to travel so whenever I’m in the mood to splurge I plan a great holiday – it so happens that I also splurge on retail therapy while I am travelling.

My guilty pleasure has to be buying vintage stuff, whether its clothes, jewellery, cameras or furniture.

When I need to escape the city, I go to my sister’s house to play with my nieces!
