We speak to the ethically minded entrepreneur who's making waves in Hong Kong's thriving fashion scene 

With her elfin frame, big smile and a wardrobe to rival Tatler’s, Yen Kuok is every inch the glamorista, but the 25-year-old Stanford graduate is also bubbly and down to earth. She recently launched her first business venture, Guiltless Fashion, an online boutique that sells used designer items on consignment (think Birkin bags and collectible Chanel gowns). “I created Guiltless with the intention of promoting sustainable fashion,” she says. “Given Asia’s lust for luxury, I was surprised at how underdeveloped the second-hand market is in Hong Kong.” She’s certainly inherited an entrepreneurial streak from her mogul father, Robert Kuok, but passion is the key to her success. “I stand by the belief that if you do something you love, you’ll never work a day in your life.”
