He's the chief executive of Gold Peak Industries, a board member of the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority, a director of PMQ Management, a recipient of the Gold Bauhinia Star and the chairman of the Hong Kong Design Centre.

Now Victor Lo is also an honorary fellow of London's Royal College of Art, a distinction bestowed in June for his work promoting design in Hong Kong. After the awards ceremony, Victor's son, Alan, took to Facebook with a snap of his father and the spirited post: "Very proud of you Dad!"
