In celebration of the new look HongKongTatler.com, we asked the creative director of Buzz Concepts to explain his definition of luxury 

“Luxury is about showing who you are,” says Benedict Ku, the creative director of Buzz Concepts. It’s a succinct summary of the #WeAreHongKongTatler campaign, which over the last few weeks has focused on 12 of the city’s iconic movers and shakers. Ku’s wife, Jaime, opened the series with her description of what defines the Hong Kong Tatler brand, and it’s only appropriate that it wraps up with his words of wisdom.

Hong Kong Tatler is all about the people, and each individual that has been a part of the project represents the different facets and qualities of our website – from those who are the face of all the best society events, to those who lead the way in fashion, wine, beauty and more.

In today’s day and age, the very definition of luxury is changing, and the new chapter of HongKongTatler.com is a part of that conversation. We’re proud of who we are and the city we live in, and we’ll continue to bring you the very best of lifestyle with our experts, tastemakers and trailblazers leading the way.

In the end, as Ku tells us, luxury is a state of mind – we live it and breathe it, and hope to curate the best of living through our brand new platform.
