The Tatler guide to what's on in Hong Kong this week
Another public holiday, another day in the sun. Summer is well and truly here, and we’re itching to get started on the pool parties and summer concerts. From the year's first W pool party to the annual Dragon Boat Race, here are Tatler's top things to do in Hong Kong this week.
Row a boat
Dragon Boat Festival
The traditional Chinese festival returns, commemorating the death of national hero Qu Yuan with drums, glutinous rice, and of course, dragon boat races. On the 30th, you can watch the festival parade at Tai O or head to Stanley for the races—just be warned, it will be crowded. Over the weekend, more races and parades will be happening at the harbour, so keep an eye on the changing schedule.
