Vote now for the women who are starting businesses big and small

In partnership with the Hong Kong Adventist Hospital Foundation, Hong Kong Tatler is recognizing some of the city’s most inspirational women. From the medicine to the environment, the nominees for the Women of Hope awards have all truly dedicated themselves to making a difference.

One category for the nominees is “Entrepreneur,” recognizing those women who have taken their great ideas and turned them into real businesses. The nominees for this category are Ann Cha & Angela Cheng Matsuzawa, Charlotte Chen, Cheryl Wilson, and Michelle Sun & Karen Farzam.

Harvard and Yale-educated Cha and Matsuzawa are co-founders of Punch Detox. Started in Hong Kong in 2010, Punch Detox was Asia’s first juice cleanse company. It has taken off since, and the company is now expanding to Singapore.

Chen is the founder of Spottly. The free app, launched in 2013, allows users to collect and save their favourite travel finds. Chen has recently added to her repertoire with Spottly Insider, a digital and print travel magazine providing curated picks for locals by locals in cities around the world.

Wilson is the founder of Landing Pad. Her company provides business advisory and communication strategy services to growing businesses. Her clients have included foreign companies and government entities in and around Hong Kong.

Sun and Farzam are the co-founders of Women Who Code. Their company works to foster success for women within the tech industry. They provide Hong Kong women in web development and programming with the tools they need to succeed in Hong Kong.
