The French fashion house pays homage to Christopher Nemeth by hosting a pop-up boutique in the city the late artist called home

Following their presentation of Louis Vuitton’s new Autumn Winter 2016 collection at Colette in Paris, the French fashion house will be showcasing their coveted menswear collection with a pop-up boutique at Isetan in the Shinjuku district of Tokyo.

Open for a limited time only the pop-up features exclusive Louis Vuitton Monogram Christopher Nemeth rope print leather goods, the choice of Tokyo as a pop-up location makes sense given Nemeth moved his base to Tokyo in 1986. In fact, his store remains in business continuing to be a permanent showcase and landmark for his works, ranging from art to furniture he designed.

In addition to Louis Vuitton’s Tokyo pop-up boutique, the French fashion house announced their latest editorial endeavour in the form of LV The Book which sees Kim Jones revisit British sartorial traditions with men’s collections that were made to stroll through the streets of London.

Louis Vuitton’s Tokyo Pop-up Opens on August 26 until September 15, 2015
