Designer’s Background

Creative director Rachel Proud brings a wealth of experience to the new British brand Raey, exclusively available at Matches Fashion, from her time as design director at Christopher Kane as well as creative consultant to Topshop. Proud works with an in-house team on the realisation and design of both the women’s and men’s collections.

Design Signatures

Simon Chilvers, men’s style director for Matches Fashion, says, “Key pieces this season include various spring jackets and outerwear options, track trousers and neon knits.” The core of Raey is a refined edit of basics in premium fabrics. Simple tracksuits are made with fine cashmere, while a principal element of athleticism is seen throughout the collection.

Brand Philosophy

“Our aim with the first collection was to start with pieces that men are familiar with, but introduce them to new fabrications and fit details,” Proud explains. With a focus on minimal and wearable styles combined with premium fabrics, Raey brings together timeless essentials for a man’s wardrobe.
