The Oscars of watchmaking saluted the excellence of global horological creations at the award ceremony in Geneva

Hailed as one of the most prestigious award ceremonies in watchmaking today, the Grand Prix d’horlogerie de Genève celebrated watchmaking excellence and creativity at the prize-giving ceremony in Geneva on October 29.

Joined by 1,500 audiences composed of influential stakeholders of the watch industry, as well as leading figures from political and economic circles, the award pays tribute to horological excellence worldwide.

17 prizes were chosen by the prestigious international jury team, which is comprised by various specialists in the watch industry ranged from watchmakers to art critics.

Among the other winners, Greubel Forsey’s “Tourbillion 24 Secondes Vision” was crowned the supreme distinction “Aiguille d’Or” Grand Prix, honouring the world-class.

Watch aficionados can appreciate the aesthetics and exquisite craftsmanship of these prize-winning timepieces at the SalonQP in London from November 12 to 14.

“Horological Revlation” Prize: Laurent Ferrier, Galet Square

Special Jury Prize: Micke Pintus, Yannick Pintus, Jean-Luc Perrin, the three Vacheron Constantin watchmakers who developed the Reference 57260 watch. 

In addition, voting via the Internet and at the exhibitions resulted in the awarding of the Public Prize: Antoine Preziuso, Tourbillon of Tourbillons
