4 Pink Afternoon Tea Sets To Support Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October might soon be over, but it's not too late to show your support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. These five-star hotels are offering special pink-themed afternoon tea sets well into November to continue raising awareness and funds for this worthwhile cause.

1. The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong

What: In support of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Ritz-Calton Hong Kong launched its Pretty In Pink Afternoon Tea Set at Café 103, where guests can savour a series of pink treats throughout October.

Delicately crafted by executive pastry chef Richard Long and his team, the set features tempting pink delights including a lychee rose tarte, raspberry yoghurt, black truffle beetroot egg salad mini bun and a pink caviar remoulade crab salad swiss roll to name a few. The divine Pretty In Pink set is priced at HK$428 for per person and HK$ 688 for two, where you can also add HK$300 for one glass of Louis Roederer Brut, Rosé Champagne 2011.

2. The Langham

What: Palm Court at The Langham's Think Pink Afternoon Tea features an array of masterfully crafted sweets and savouries in varying shades of pink, including rose scented lychee mousse, warm scones served with Devonshire clotted cream, strawberry jam and rose preserve, pacific prawn with crab roe mini bun and tomato bread with apple smoked salmon.

The Think Pink Afternoon Tea is priced at HK$348 for per person and HK$598 for two. An upgraded version of the tea set is available for you to enjoy a glass of Perrier-Jouët Rosé Champagne, priced at HK$528 per person and HK$ 888 for two. As an official Pink Partner for the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation, The Langham will be donating $10 from every afternoon tea set sold during the promotional period to the organisation.

What: As well as making a generous donation to the Hong Kong Hereditary Breast Cancer Family Registry, Hotel Icon’s lobby dining room, Green, is offering a Pink Sensation Afternoon Tea Set featuring mouth-watering rosy-hued treats. The tea set features savoury and sweet delights, such as shrimp salad on toast, vanilla strawberry rose panna cotta and a special swan-shaped raspberry coulis with rose choux.

Guests can also enjoy unlimited Häagen-Dazs “pink” ice-creams (including flavours such as strawberry frozen yoghurt and raspberry sorbet), and a special "Pink Sensation" drink will be gifted to those who wear the colour of the month. This set is priced at HK$ 288 per person and HK$546 for two.

4. Island Shangri-La

What: Visit the Lobby Lounge at Island Shangri-La Hong Kong and indulge in a dreamy Pink Afternoon Tea Set, with items including Norwegian smoked salmon and herb cream sandwich, raspberry lamington, rose flavoured scones and strawberry cheesecake.

The set is priced at HK$588 for two persons. Island Shangri-La will be donating part of the proceeds to the Hong Kong Hereditary Breast Cancer Family Registry.
