At the annual Asia's 50 Best Restaurants unveiling—held once more in Bangkok tonight—a number of Hong Kong chefs and restaurants came away with accolades. Our Local Champion award winner and this year's Best Female Chef May Chow gave a speech filled with zingers ("If May can cook, so can you—and I stole that from Yan Can Cook" and "Watch out, I'll be stealing your spot next year" were particularly amusing) while Umberto Bombana of Otto e Mezzo was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement award
