The beloved 19th century colonial building has a new lease of life, with a whole stable of revamped F&B options
The instantly recognisable former Marine Police Headquarters is a Tsim Sha Tsui icon, with its colonial-style architecture and prominent location within the bustling retail district. Previously known as Hullett House, the iconic destination has been renamed as House 1881 to reflect its impressive heritage, and refurbished to restore its former glory as a historic meeting spot between cultures.
House 1881 is comprised of a boutique hotel and five dining concepts, each one with a distinct culinary offering to take visitors on a gastronomic journey no matter what time of day. Each venue is also available to be used for private events. The iconic Fortune Villa is an opulent destination dedicated to the art of Cantonese cuisine, with a menu dedicated to traditional dim sum and a la carte options such as poached chicken with conpoy, and stir-fried lamb cooked with locally-produced preserved tofu.
