Jason Atherton and Yenn Wong’s latest project will be unveiled at PMQ this Spring

Barely half a year on from the opening of Ham & Sherry in Wan Chai, Yenn Wong and Jason Atherton will present their next collaboration – Aberdeen Street Social, to be housed in the hotly anticipated PMQ building in Central.

Housed over two levels of the rejuvenated former Police Married Quarters, the restaurant will feature an intimate dining room on the upper level, with a casual dining, bar and retail space with a garden frontage on the ground level, opening out into a front terrace. The space will be designed by Neri & Hu.

The project is set to open by mid-May 2014 in time for art month.

Update (April 10, 2014):
We now hear that Andrés Lara will be heading up the pastry kitchen, and that there will also be a bakery and retail shop on the premises called Sweet Social. Lara was most recently working as the pastry chef at Atherton's Pollen restaurant in Singapore, and also counts Iggy's and Noma on his CV.
