The Japanese restaurant at Island Shangri-La presents a fine pairing of sake with seasonal delicacies at home

This summer, Island Shangri-La’s Nadaman is launching a new range of takeaway bento boxes featuring seasonal delights prepared with the best harvest imported from Japan. Designed by the restaurant’s chef Koyama, the new deluxe bento boxes are best enjoyed at home with fine sakes or Japanese craft beers. Notable varieties include prime Japanese delicacies and sake package, set to serve two to three individuals. The package includes nine Nadaman signature delicacies such as grilled lobster with white miso and cream cheese sauce; simmered Japanese abalone with asparagus, aubergine with rich abalone sauce; and teriyaki Kumamoto beef tenderloin and foie gras with truffle sauce, among many. This deluxe package is complimented with one bottle of Junmai -Daiginjyo or a variety set with three mini -bottles of sake and two bottles of Japanese craft beers. The prime Japanese delicacies and sake package is priced at HK$1,780 per set.  Other deluxe bento varieties include premium kaiseki bento (with eight Nadaman dishes), priced at HK$780 per set; and a series of Nadaman signature bento priced ranging from HK$220 to HK$350 per set.
