Opened and operated by the La Cabane team, the new restaurant delights with vibrant and colorful set menu offerings

Bayta, a new restaurant by La Cabane, is opened on Hollywood Road. The petite space showcases vegetable-rich essence of Mediterranean cuisine featured in prix fixe menu offerings.

The new establishment, located on the tip of Hollywood Road neighbouring Sheung Wan, is a modest space spanning 600 square feet and designed by French paintress and visual artist Elsa Jean de Dieu. The restaurant boasts a palette of turquoise and copper tones, complete with custom-made leather seating and evenly spaced tables.

Taking the helm of the kitchen is Pauline Steiner, executive chef of La Cabane. The new restaurant offers regularly changes in its set menu featuring organic and sustainable ingredients, matched with natural and biodynamic wines from around the world. Signature dishes at Bayta include:

- Green asparagus cannelloni with strawberry enhancer
- Vegetal couscous, merguez spice, beetroot in seasonal vegetable broth
- Citrus vacherin with basil sorbet
- Castagnaccio with rosemary ice cream

Guests can freely choose their desired courses for the three-course set dinner menu, priced at HK$650 per person, complete with beverage of choice.
