Housed within Club Lusitano, the restaurant specialises in all things beef with innovative cocktails to match

In a city where steakhouses are never in short supply, a beef specialist is not necessarily a novel idea. However what sets Beefbar apart, an international chain of restaurants offering beef sourced from Australia, Europe, Japan and the United States is the fact that it is owned and opened by meat trading company Giraudi. The new restaurant is located at Club Lusitano on Ice House Street, Central.

With interior design by Monaco’s Humbert & Poyet, the new beef-focused restaurant shines with earth tones, refined design elements of leather and onyx-style wood panels, stylish references to the rawness of the establishment’s dining concept. White marble and brass finishings round out the design with a touch of luxury through the amber-lit dining space. Located at the central part of the 92-seat restaurant is the raw bar, where some of the prepared dishes from the a la carte menu will be made to order.

With Andrea Spagoni helming the kitchen, guests visiting Beefbar can choose from rare beef cuts sourced from different parts of the world. Each undergoes a different dry-ageing program. The restaurant highlights a collection of beef signature dishes, including:

- Beef tataki with celery, shiso, and walnut salad
- Carpaccio of Kobe beef fillet
- Milk-fed veal fillet tartare with tarragon and praline
- Guinea fowl ravioli in chamomile broth
- Tenderloin side with jalapeño mash and pak choi
- Baked pistachio soufflé with cherries
