The Italian-Japanese restaurant launches an all new brunch and sakura-themed omakase menu this spring

Tsim Sha Tsui’s Aqua is revamping its signature Because Brunch with an all new sakura theme, featuring special dishes inspired by Japan’s most celebrated blossoms of the season and free-flowing sake. Guests can start their brunch experience with a choice of poached eggs, followed by sushi and sashimi sharing platters including new sakura squid with seaweed salad, followed by a choice of main courses such as grilled New Zealand lamb chops served with pink sakura mashed potatoes; as well as Alaskan king crab and tiger prawn fried rice. The brunch finished with the establishment’s signature dessert platter. The new sakura-themed Because Brunch is priced at HK$688 per person, inclusive of free-flowing beverages such as Manga sake, Veuve Clicquot champagne, selected cocktails, wines, and beers.

In addition to a brand new brunch, Aqua is also launching a brand new six-course sakura omakase menu, with notable courses such as sakura soy bean soup with tamago tofu, amaebi prawn, lily bulb and yuzu kosho; as well as botan shrimp and scallop carpaccio with sakura denku and yuzu dressing. The six-course Japanese menu is priced at HK$888 per person, with a optional wine pairing menu at HK$488 per person. Alternatively, an exclusive nine-course omakase menu is available at HK$1,118 per person. Both cherry blssom-themed omakase menus are available from now until April 30, 2020.
