Drinking is made guilt-free at this charity event featuring five of Hong Kong's top Indian mixologists

Following news of the 'Cook For India' charity dinner at Chaat—where eight of Hong Kong's top Indian chefs will be whipping up a feast on June 7 to raise funds for the Indian Covid relief effort—five bartenders from the local Indian bar community will also stepping up to the plate at the upcoming 'Hong Kong Helps India' cocktail night at Hugger Mugger, organised by Tom Egerton of Proof & Company, and DRiNK magazine editor, Holly Graham.

From 6pm on the night of May 30 only, Sandeep Hathiramani of Tell Camellia, Sandeep Kumar of The Wise King, Devender Sehgal of The Aubrey, Deven Rajput of Whisky & Words, and Navneet Kumar of Dragonfly will be shaking up Indian-inspired cocktails for HK$100 each, with all of the proceeds to go to the Indian Red Cross Society. Guests can look forward to concoctions such as Hathiramani's Limbu Pani 2.0 (Widges gin, coriander, khatta, 'brown bae' chilli tincture, smoky tea) and Sandeep Kumar's Jigarthanda (Plantation 3 Star rum, ricotta, pineapple juice, almond syrup, chia seeds).

Simultaneously, Chaiwala's Chai Bar will be serving a four-course set menu (HK$500) to raise funds for the same charity, featuring signature dishes by chef Prabir Banerjee such as Bombay fried chicken with pickled tomato mayonnaise, Old Delhi butter chicken, and the vegan tandoori broccoli with coconut cream and cashew nuts.

All guests from both events will also be entered into raffle prize draws for everything from staycations and premium spirits, to brunches, dinners, and more. With delicious cocktails and dishes on offer, this night promises to be an effortless way to do your part for charity.
