Valentine's Day 2021: Charbonnel Et Walker And Hong Kong Illustrator Kitty Wong's Cute Chocolate Box Crossover
Charbonnel et Walker and renowned Hong Kong illustrator, Kitty Wong join hands this February to produce a limited-edition heart-shaped chocolate truffle box exclusively for Valentine's Day. The box celebrates the chocolatier's arrival in Hong Kong and the concept of "falling in love" with the city.
The elegant, pink handmade box will feature Wong's signature quirky and cute design and aesthetic, as previously seen in local campaigns by well-known brands such as Lane Crawford, Dior and Maybelline New York. The charming design channels classic romantic symbols such as Cupid, the god of desire, attraction and affection, with an arrow-pierced heart alongside iconic Hong Kong objects such as wooden birdcages, egg tarts, Hong Kong-style French toast and the Star Ferry, which is perhaps one of the most scenic and romantic ways to travel across the harbour.
The handmade chocolate boxes will be available in both the coveted pink Marc de Champagne flavour as well as in the form of Charbonnel's Valentine-special sea salt hazelnut praline hearts, both priced at HK$388. You can get the boxes from February 1 at Charbonnel et Walker pop-up in Prince Building or via their online store.
The special collaboration will also be available via our newly launched platform, Tatler Unlisted. The exclusive circle-design of the Valentine's Day box features Kitty Wong's irresistible illustrations, with sixteen plump, sugar-dusted milk truffles with Charbonnel et Walker’s signature Pink Marc de Champagne filling hidden inside. Priced at HK$388, last minute delivery can be secured as late as 10pm on Saturday, February 13 to receive the chocolates in time for Valentine’s Day. Find out more and order online here.
