Modern Shanghai offers a new set menu featuring the lesser seen smoked squab alongside other delicacies

Following the success of their seafood treasure set menu, Modern Shanghai (Olympian City) has rolled out an upgraded crispy squab treasure set menu to whet your appetite this winter. The menu’s highlights include a signature Buddha Jumps Over The Wall, a classic double-boiled soup featuring abalone, fish maw, sea cucumber, chicken, and pork consommé, designed to warm you during the cooler season. The set menu starts with an appetiser platter, including aged Shaoxing huadiao-brined chicken; Jiangsu style pork trotter aspic; roasted bran dough with peanut and black fungus; and smoked soft-boiled egg with spiced salt. The eponymous crispy smoked squab is another highlight in this menu, where the bird is enjoyed for its mixture of tender and crisp textures, as well as a dish of flavourful wok-fried prawn in soy sauce.

The crispy squab treasure set is available from now until the end of March 2021 and is priced at HK$328 per person (a minimum of 2 persons is required for ordering). Guests who join the 1957 & Co. loyalty program can enjoy a buy-one-get-one-free offer when ordering the new set menu.
