If you’re a fan of candles and scones, get excited: luxury perfumer Diptyque is collaborating with The Four Season’s Japanese dining mainstay, Inagiku, on an indulgent afternoon tea set. This limited-time promotion blends traditional Japanese summer dishes with refined floral aroma for a truly unique taste and olfactory journey.

The set begins with a sushi selection and savoury dishes such as grilled hokke fish and eggplant Inaniwa udon. Bridging the gap between sweet and savory are sweet potato bean curd with sea urchin and lotus root cake. The experience culminates with a dessert platter sprinkled with Japanese flowers. The treats include cherry cake, Japanese mochi, green tea cake with red bean paste and ice cream sandwich.

Unsurprisingly, smell plays a big part in the overall dining experience: the restaurant will be scented with Diptyque’s signature candles. Diners will also receive a complimentary Diptyque Do Son fragrance gift pack.

Priced at HK $498 for two, the Inagiku x diptyque tea set will be available on every Saturday, Sunday and public holiday from July 9 to August 7, 2016 from 3:00pm to 5:15pm.
