This interactive and experimental one-hour class in the glamourous surroundings of one of the highest bars in the world sees participants learning from the best, in the shape of Ozone’s charismatic Bar Manager, Oscar Mena. He’ll be teaching the basic techniques behind drink mixing (including the differences between shaking, stirring and building), explaining how to prepare ingredients and infuse flavours into spirits, and helping you create a trio of delectable cocktails.

Each of these classic cocktails comes with a very special tea-inspired twist—there’s an Old Grey Fashioned, made with Earl Grey-infused bourbon; the La Flor Margarita, which showcases camomile syrup; and the Tom Collins-inspired Peach Me Up, starring white tea instead of soda water. There will also be plenty of time for hands-on experience behind the bar under Oscar’s expert guidance, plus the chance to unwind with a drink after the mixology session—with all guests receiving take-home recipe cards so they can easily recreate their concoctions at home.

If cooking up a storm is more your style, then a special cooking class and dinner at Duck & Waffle Hong Kong, the famed London hotspot’s only international outpost, is certain to whet the appetite. Executive chef Daniel Barbosa will be demonstrating how to create the restaurant’s signature duck and waffle dish—including expert tips on how to prepare, marinate and cook your duck leg to achieve the maximum flavour, and how to make the very best buttermilk waffle batter. Dessert lovers will also relish the chance to learn step-by-step how to cook a delectable dessert of torrejas (aka South American French toast), before trying their hand at making it themselves with chef Daniel’s guidance.

You’ll also get to enjoy the fruits of chef Daniel’s labour first-hand with a delicious four-course dinner at the restaurant—where you’ll be spoilt for choice with options like bacon-wrapped dates, beef tartare, black sesame sticky toffee pudding and of course, the legendary duck and waffle dish itself—accompanied by a glass of sparkling Prosecco to finish the night in style. All guests will receive a recipe card to help them replicate the dishes they’ve learnt, plus a souvenir certificate and quirky “rubber duck” cocktail cup to take home too.

The perks don’t end there either; all guests will earn extra Air Miles for booking the experiences, to the tune of 1 mile for every HK$2 spent.

So here’s to a summer of learning new skills, enjoying memorable times with friends, and embarking on truly scrumptious dining adventures.
