There’s no doubt that 2020 has been a year that nobody expected. Regardless of how your year went, we can all do with a little cheer and celebration to welcome the new year. While large parties and groups may not be in the cards this New Year’s Eve, you can still wave farewell to 2020 in style by treating yourself to an indulgent NYE meal.
Zuma’s celebrations have always been the talk of the town, and this year is no different. Their one-night-only New Year’s Eve premium tasting menu includes wagyu tataki with white truffle, grilled Hokkaido scallops with shio buta and sea urchin and A4 grade Japanese wagyu sirloin. For dessert, expect a beautifully curated platter with raspberry cheesecake, wild strawberry and Tahitian vanilla chawanmushi; as well as a chocolate with caramel and almond praline.
If an all-you-can-eat meal appeals to you more, their NYE Yashoku night brunch will also be available on the night. Staying true to Zuma’s brunch extravaganzas, you’ll be enjoying two hours of free-flow food, champagne and beer from 8-10pm.

For the meat-lovers, Henry is serving up a three-course New Year’s Eve dinner with a selection of starters, mains, sides and desserts to choose from.
Start the meal off with oysters and champagne, then choose from their options of starters such as the smoky short rib and bone marrow toast and steak tartare. Modern Japanese restaurant, Honjo’s New Year’s Eve dinner will showcase the restaurant’s well-known fusion flavours. From the kani salad made with king and snow crab kohlrabi confit; hamachi with ikura, watermelon radish and ginger ponzu; wagyu tataki with chorizo oil and crispy quinoa, the night will end with sweet treats and wine from Honjo’s cellar.
