Indulge in the charm of South African gourmet with the region’s best abalones and wines

This April, Dynasty of Renaissance Harbour View Hong Kong is launching a celebration of South African delicacies, expertly prepared by the experienced culinary team of the hotel’s Cantonese restaurant. The esteemed establishment celebrates abalones and the region’s beloved wines. Among the month-long exclusive signatures are deep-fried diced South African abalones with avocado and minced salted egg yolk, steamed whole abalone with jasmine tea, steamed South African abalone with garlic and dried tangerine peel, cold shredded abalone in plum sauce, as well as poached sliced South African abalone with fresh clams in homemade seafood soup.

The prized shellfish is best paired with the region’s popular wines, some of which are featured in this month’s abalone celebration, including Warwick ‘Professor Black’ sauvignon blanc, Stellenbosch, 2016, as well as Warwick ‘Three cape Ladies’ pinotage blend, Stellenbosch 2013.
