The rooftop restaurant at The Murray collaborates with NOC Coffee Co with new afternoon tea treats

This summer, Popinjays at The Murray is launching its first afternoon tea collaboration with local coffee roasters NOC Coffee Co. The hotel’s rooftop restaurant is set to feature various brews from NOC, paired with the restaurant’s wide range of teatime treats. Guests can begin with savoury treats such as foie gras confit; salmon gravlax; and lobster roll as part of a savoury trio best paired with NOC’s No.18 canned cold brew.

For a pourover coffee pairing with sweet treats, guests can opt for the Ethiopia Anasora Samil, a washed coffee from Guji best celebrated for its fruity tasting notes of lychee and bergamot. Alternatively, at an additional cost of HK$128 for two, the Panama Ninety Plus Perci Gesha is available. Harvested from single-variety coffee producer, the coffee takes on fermented tasting notes of rum-soaked cherry, longan, and chocolate, a good pairing with Popinjays’ sweet pastries and desserts such as biscotti; butter shortbread; opera cake; gianduja; and baked bergamot and raspberry tart. The Popinjays and NOC Coffee Co afternoon tea set is available daily from 3:30pm to 5:30pm, and priced at HK$678 for two persons. Reservations are available by emailing reservations.themurray@niccolohotels.com
