The traditional Chinese restaurant’s new branch showcases artisanal dim sum and seasonal Cantonese delicacies

Taking after the success of the esteemed Fu Ho Restaurant, L’Hotel Causeway Bay Harbour View is set to be the home of Ah Yung Kitchen, opened and operated by Yung Yeung-Kwong, after whom the restaurant is named. The new establishment continues to showcase traditional Cantonese delicacies, including its sister restaurant’s signature dish Ah Yung abalone together with a range of reinvented classic dim sums and the region’s seasonal delicacies.

The new Cantonese restaurant interior takes after a modern Chinese teahouse, with an abundance of metallic fixtures, natural greenery and earthy wood elements, as well as a traditional ‘ruyi’ symbol outlined throughout the entire establishment.

Ah Yung Kitchen crafts a wide range of dim sum at lunch, from its signature hand-chopped steamed beef dumplings, pan-fried potato cakes to steamed shrimp and sea cucumber dumplings, while the a la carte menu continues the brand’s wide range of exquisite Cantonese signatures such as Ah Yung abalone, stewed crab claw with egg whites, pan-fried chicken with ginger and shallots, and fried rice ‘Ah Yung’ style.

Ah Yung Kitchen is open now for both lunch and dinner.
