The all-day dining establishment at Grand Hyatt Hong Kong offers a wide range of gourmet options, from Grand Café classics to an international buffet

Since its opening in 1989, the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong’s Grand Café has been the hotel’s best kept secret. This May, after months of renovations, the all-day café is unveiling a new style, while setting the stage to offer the best dining experience for guests.

The new face of Grand Café exudes youthful energy, its chic and contemporary interior design bringing a welcome openness to the dining space. Tables are evenly spaced across the large dining area, with moderate lighting adding warmth and a homely vibe. The focal point of the Grand Café is its open central kitchen, where live and theatrical culinary actions are carried out.

Taking the helm at the new Grand Café is chef de cuisine Marc Briol, a German chef whose previous tenures in London, the Maldives, Dusseldorf and most recently, at the Grand Hyatt in Shenzhen, offered years of training to execute the café’s versatile menu. Chef Briol's great commitment to high quality is also reflected upon the respect for seasonality and healthy ingredients sourced for the dining establishment. Grand Café is proud of keeping the essence of east meets west, much like the city it resides in.
