HONG KONG TOURISM BOARD FOCUS
This November, don’t hold back as Hong Kong is pulling out all the stops for the return of the Great November Feast, a month-long celebration of all things gourmet in the city
The Great November Feast, Hong Kong Tourism Board's annual celebration of dining, will take place from 1-30 November, as the fourth edition of the culinary festival sees over 600 participating restaurants and wine merchants across the city—all of whom have come together to celebrate Hong Kong’s unique and diverse culinary scene. From luxurious tasting menus at Michelin-starred restaurants to quintessential Hong Kong street food including siu mei (barbecued meats), egg waffles and noodles, there is truly something for everyone.
Fans of fine dining will be spoilt for choice by the gourmet menus offered on FeedMe Guru, an online booking platform that offers unique tasting menus all over Hong Kong. For the Great November Feast, the menus have been designed after five of the most sought-after ingredients in Hong Kong by food-lovers: truffle, lobster, sea urchin, oyster and steak. Highlights include:
Truffle season at Caprice
At three Michelin-starred Caprice, the Le Diamant d’Alba menu celebrates white truffle season with a four-course menu starting with fresh farm eggs with white truffle, mushroom and argan oil and a delicate scampi carpaccio with celeriac remoulade, white truffle and quince vinaigrette. To follow, indulge in scallop with corn risotto, ham and crispy pork feet with white truffle and yellow wine sauce and a truffle-themed dessert with a sweet mix of caramel and hazelnut.
