Is there anything better than a warm cookie with a cold glass of milk? We think not

When it comes to Christmas, cookies are a must. How else are you going to attract Santa into your home, after all? If you're looking for Hong Kong's best cookies to serve over the holidays, we've eaten our way around the city to narrow it down to these four (in no particular order):

Bakehouse

Best for: Gourmet Santa

Cookies: Double Chocolate; Oatmeal Raisin and Ceylon Cinnamon

Grégoire Michaud and his team at Bakehouse certainly know what they're doing when it comes to baked goods. The former pastry chef of the Four Seasons Hong Kong is revered for his artisanal sourdough breads, danish and fine pastries, which are all worth queuing up for.

The double chocolate cookies from Bakehouse are ginormous and packed with large chunks of chocolate. Dense, chewy and not too sweet, these cookies will definitely put you at the top of Santa's 'Nice list'. Warm them up and have a glass of milk handy, because these cookies were made for dunking.

Best for: Hipster Santa

Cookies: Band Camp (s'mores), Ctrl Malt Del (malt cookie with Maltesers), Keyser Soze (classic chocolate chip) and many more

Founded by bubbly Hong Kong singer and actress Joyce Cheng, Homie Cookies are known for their soft-baked texture, sweet toppings and hipster names.

In addition to the classics, seasonal flavours include the pretty-in-pink Ruby Cocoa Bean and Prohibition, a bourbon cookie with dark chocolate chips and candied orange peel.

This Christmas, they've partnered with Kowloon Dairy for a limited edition Christmas plate to help you attract both Santa and Rudolph to your home (don't forget the carrot). The set is sold exclusively at K11 Mall.
