For the upcoming Chinese New Year season, 1957 & Co.’s chefs have selected 21 lavish ingredients for their festive poon choi, which is tied together with a rich and tantalising abalone sauce. Also of note is the poon choi’s serving vessel—a 12-inch, rose-gold, stainless steel pot with a see-through glass cover. Beautiful and durable, this practical pot is suitable for gas stoves as well as induction cookers. Diners can purchase a Huaiyang-style festive poon choi voucher for HK$1,688, to exchange for a poon choi that can feed up to six persons.

The ingredients list of 1957 & Co.’s Huaiyang-style festive poon choi includes: 6-head South African abalone (6 pieces), fish maw (6 pieces), sea cucumber (6 pieces), dried scallops (6 pieces), prawns (6 pieces), semi-dried oysters (6 pieces), pork knuckle (1 piece), braised duck (quarter), steamed chicken (quarter), goose feet (6 pieces), mushrooms (6 pieces), black moss, dace fish balls, Shanghai glutinous rice cakes, bean curd knots, pig tongues, pig skins, bean curd sheets, taro, lotus root, white cabbage, and abalone sauce.

Guests will also receive a HK$500 dining voucher upon reservation. Guests can add $98 for an additional order of Yangzhou fried glutinous rice with cured meats.

The redemption period is from now until 28 February 2021.
