The hotel’s first informal bistro concept experiments with social dining in style

A new concept is budding at the Royal Garden, home to Dong Lai Shun, Sabatini, and Inagiku Grande. J’s Bar Bistro, the hotel’s new dining concept, has opened, presenting a stylish bar set up with fine food offerings.

The new casual eatery fuses luxury with classic European style in its décor, where evenly-spaced marble tables are matched with dark wood flooring and navy blue tones. Designed with a cold kitchen, wine cellar, and bistro dining space, guests can enjoy a wide range of food offerings from tapas to yakitori at the bistro, where the kitchen team is led by head chef Lui Wang-chi.

Guests can enjoy a number of chef Lui’s signature highlights including heirloom tomato with balsamic and mustard sorbet, pan-fried scallops with cauliflower, mini wagyu beef burgers, as well as a selection of artisanal and farmhouse cheeses imported from France, paired with innovative cocktails such as Ilsa Lund and The Colonel’s Last Laugh, created by resident mixologist Stanley Au.
