The exclusive weekend tea set fuses local and British afternoon tea treats concepts throughout summer

Summer afternoons are the best time to enjoy a creatively-designed afternoon tea. Cobo House is fusing traditional concepts of a British afternoon tea and local “cha chaan” in her new afternoon tea set, available on weekends and public holidays throughout the season.

Served at the award-winning pastry chef’s restaurant in Shek Tong Tsui, the beautiful afternoon tea treats are displayed on a tiered stand. Inspired by Wong’s philosophy that “Your world is your imagination”, the tea treats deliver a visual surprise, as well as multiple textures in each morsel. Guests can anticipate a number of crafted treats such as:

-  Open-face duck calligraphy mantou
-  Mushroom garden
-  Salted-egg choux with pork floss and raspberry powder
-  Mini salted caramel and dark chocolate bar
- Lemon tart

The artisanal ‘cha chaan’ tea set is served with Janice Wong’s signature chocolate bonbons as well as scones served with cream and homemade jam. The exclusive afternoon tea set is limited at 10 sets per day, available from July 22 on Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm. The afternoon tea set is priced at HK$508 for two.
