The new Asian restaurant delivers family-style dining offerings from Indonesia’s popular tropical destination

Following the success of TRi, Le Comptoir’s Balinese debut at The Pulse, the group has since relocated the Southern District restaurant to Central, as the Poem, the revamped establishment opened its doors earlier this October. Located within LKF Tower which also houses the restaurant’s group’s modern izakaya Silencio, Poem is set to present the tropical cuisine from Indonesia’s most popular vacation hot spot.

Inspired by the island’s natural beauty, Poem’s main dining space seats 50 guests, and is embellished with an abundance of natural bamboo and lush greenery, complete with bespoke teak furniture and hand-crafted batik panels. The Balinese restaurant is headed by Bali-native chef Denny Sumarko, who highlights the bold flavours of the island cuisine prepared with seasonal, sustainably-sourced ingredients. Guests can indulge in a number of modern signatures such as coconut smoked duck; seafood dumplings, wagyu beef cheek bao, and wagyu short ribs.

Poem is open for lunch, weekend brunch and dinner throughout the week.
