The pop-up market features famous coffee vendors and a wide array of coffee-themed activities

Caffeine addicts are in luck—Lee Garden has just launched the Lee Garden Coffee festival, which will run from 22 July to 1 August and is a celebration of Hong Kong’s lively coffee scene. The festival, which features ten of the city's most popular coffee brands, offers a reinvention of a cafe-hopping experience. Its participating vendors proudly showcase their most sought-after products, featuring everything from specialty coffee beans to stylish coffee gadgets.

One of the brands popping up in the festival is NOC Coffee Co., a cafe known for its sleek, minimalistic design. Apart from offering coffee beans sourced from all over the world, NOC (which stands for Not Only Coffee) presents sweet but healthy treats such as homemade granola and three different cookie flavours.

Another beloved cafe appearing in the festival is Sensory Zero, a local brand which features specialty coffee sourced from exotic locations all over the world. Satisfy your sweet tooth with one of their natural Italian ice creams, which come in six different flavours. 

Promoting health and sustainability, Sofe Coffee is offering its locally roasted premium coffee beans, which are produced using a strictly vegan process. A highlight is their cold brew coffee, which is steeped for twenty four hours. The flavourful coffee boasts several health benefits and is zero waste.

Nation Coffee is a boutique coffee shop which specialises in cold brew coffee. The brand will be offering some of its most popular drinks, which include the iced drip coffee, iced French Weiss 72% dark chocolate, iced Kyoto Uji matcha latte and oat milk earl grey.

For Australian style coffee, check out TIL- Today Is Long. The independent coffee roastery, which is situated in Sai Ying Pun, features cold-brew coffee with deep and intense flavour. Buy a bottle or do it yourself using TIL’s coffee beans and PO’s coffee grinder, which is offered in TIL’s booth alongside coffee gadgets and insulated takeaway cups. 

Cupping Room Coffee Roasters presents a wide selection of coffees from places such as Ethiopa, Colombia and more. Their coffee is house-roasted and can be purchased in capsules which are 100 per cent biodegradable and compostable.

Take a trip to Japan with MYOC Coffee, which sources premium coffees directly from Japan. The creative packaging of its coffee beans takes inspiration from a plane ticket, giving customers an elevated coffee experience. 

Coffee enthusiasts will be familiar with Sonne CAD, a coffee studio in Tai Hang which hopes to promote single origin coffee. Their coffee beans are sold in creative, bottle-shaped containers and feature detailed descriptions of each coffee’s origin. Meanwhile, Suit Coffee is offering high quality, premium coffee beans packaged in minimalistic black and white packaging.

18 Grams Specialty Coffee is known for its cozy cafes and premium coffee beans, which are sourced from all over the world and roasted freshly in Hong Kong. The beans which will be offered at the festival can also be ordered online, where you can discover the stories of the coffee farms that produced the precious beans.

At the centre of the festival is Lee Garden’s instagrammable roastery truck, which provides the perfect backdrop for selfies and coffee. Live demonstrations of the coffee preparation process will be performed inside, providing an exciting attraction for passserbys and coffee-addicts alike.

The festival also offers an exclusive coffee pass, which can be purchased at HK$199. The pass, suitable for even the most devoted of coffee lovers, allows Lee Garden members to enjoy over HK$400 worth of coffee beverages from shops like Cova, La Maison du Chocolat, The Cakery and many more.

Last but not least, Lee Garden is offering a series of coffee master workshops. The workshops, which range from coffee cupping to siphon workshops, are the perfect weekend activity—whether you’re a coffee novice eager to learn or a coffee lover wanting to take your knowledge to the next level.
