The Robuchon alumnus will head up Lee Gardens’ fine dining French establishment

This October, Seasons is welcoming Lorenz Hoja, the fine dining French restaurant’s new executive chef. The German-born Hoja has built his culinary career through a number of restaurants by Joel Robuchon. The experienced chef is heading to Hong Kong to head up Seasons, which has been open since 2014 and was previously headlined by fellow Robuchon alumnus Olivier Elzer (Elzer has revealed to us exclusively his upcoming plans, so stay tuned).

Born in Germany into a family focused on gastronomy, Hoja grew his passion for cooking at a young age—he helped his family forage for mushrooms and fished wild catch, all the while growing a deep understanding of seasonality in ingredients. Mastering the knowledge and expertise in the culinary arts helped him launch his career with a few Robuchon restaurants, while travelling all over the world, covering kitchens from Europe to Africa, including most recently at Singapore’s L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon as the executive chef.

Hoja is set to take the helm of Season’s Kitchen on October 11, 2017. Watch this space as we keep you updated on the launch of his latest a la carte signatures and offerings for the upcoming holiday season.
