Esther Sham's garden-themed restaurant adds Asian touches to French fare for the holidays

This Christmas, Esther Sham's Maison Es presents a new array of festive offerings at its garden-themed restaurant in Wan Chai. On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, a six-course festive tasting menu will be served, where premium Kagoshima short rib, Japanese black abalone, and French Bresse chicken are prepared with innovative new ways. Guests can anticipate French influence to Maison Es' festive dishes, with a refreshing Asian twist to each course. Highlights in the festive menu include binchotan-grilled Spanish red prawn with caviar, sea urchin, cauliflower cream, dill oil and red prawn jus; slow-cooked black abalone with smoked eel, sugar snap ragout and yuzu beurre blanc; and langoustine tortellini with soy-glazed maitake mushrooms, matsutake bouillon, foie gras emulsion and black truffles. The six-course tasting menu is priced at HK$1,688 per person. Maison Es also offers a four-course Christmas brunch menu from 25 to 27 December. The special brunch is priced at HK$680 per person with a free-flow beverage package option.
