Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong is set to complete its renovation programme and will welcome guests with a new club lounge as well as new and upgraded restaurants next month

Synonymous with prestigious comfort and impeccable services, Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong is known as one of the top destinations in the city for a luxurious stay. The much-loved luxury hotel has recently announced some updates about their revamp project on its top floors, where a new luxury club lounge, The Mandarin Club, and new dining facilities are set to open on February 1, after eight months of renovation works.

Overlooking Statue Square Garden and the surrounding cityscape, The Mandarin Club will be an expansive 6,200 square feet lounge area on the hotel's 23rd floor, offering VIP guests all-day dining and concierge services in a luxurious, sophisticated setting. Boasting elegant interiors complete with wood flooring and sleek colour palette, the space will feature a boardroom, dining area and lounge.

The hotel is also set to launch its newest dining concept on the 25th floor, The Aubrey. Known as a collaboration with Maximal Concepts, the restaurant is a Japanese izakaya inspired by the mid-19th century Japanism art movement. Emitting a whimsical and welcoming vibe, it will serve premium beverages and delicacies prepared with the finest Japanese ingredients and traditional cooking techniques.

Also worth mentioning is the revamp project for the Michelin-starred Chinese restaurant on the same floor, Man Wah. Having received a stunning makeover, the fine dining establishment will not only feature a bigger dining space and new private dining rooms, but also receive a new menu featuring exquisite Cantonese cuisine crafted by executive Chinese chef Wong Wing-Keung, who recreates traditional recipes with a touch of modernity while keeping some of his signature dishes for the menu.
