Benjamin Cross and Steven Moore are presenting a five-day culinary showcase at Sai Ying Pun’s Test Kitchen

The month of March is in no shortage of gastronomy showcases, from Taste of Hong Kong to the opening of Theo Mistral, featuring British celebrity chef Theo Randall. Joining the fray is Test Kitchen, which will be kickstarting the month with a five-day dining event featuring Benjamin Cross and Steven Moore from Mejekawi by Ku De Ta Bali.

From March 7 to 11, Cross, Mejekawi’s executive chef and Moore, his head chef of the team, will present their unique cuisine fusing elements of Australian and Indonesian cuisines through an eight-course tasting menu, priced at HK$980 per person.

Originally from Byron Bay, Australia, Cross began his culinary career in Perigord, France, followed by stints in Switzerland, the UK, and some of Australia’s most revered restaurants. He worked with Neil Perry to reopen XO, and was the sous chef at Rockpool. Cross arrived at Ku De Ta in 2013 to open Mejekawi, the lifestyle club’s casual fine dining establishment.
