The casual Italian restaurant in Lan Kwai Fong is serving up classic sharing-style brunch dishes with French finesse

There is a new weekend brunch in town. Esteemed chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s Mercato is launching brunch for the first time since its opening last summer.

Designed by Jean-Georges himself and the restaurant’s head chef Anthony Burd, the new menu showcases brunch favorites with an Italian twist, and comes in a la carte format, offering numerous selections of appetisers, egg dishes, pizzas, pastas, larger mains and desserts, where guests are encouraged to share their orders with friends and family. Guests can indulge in dishes such as:

- Burrata with clementine jam and basil
- Poached eggs with prosciutto, ciabatta, and hollandaise
- Black truffle, three cheese and farm egg pizza
- Lobster and shrimp ravioli with olive oil, lemon and herbs
- Porcini-crusted salmon, warm leek vinaigrette and herbs
- Cinnamon sticky buns with cream cheese frosting

For an additional HK$250 guests can enjoy unlimited refill of red, white, and sparkling wines and Peroni beers, or a selection of cocktails as well as the establishment’s signature prosecco infusions, mocktails and fresh juices.
