Mother’s Day Celebration At Petrus

This Mother’s Day, Ricardo Chaneton, chef de cuisine of Island Shangri-La’s Petrus is crafting a sumptuous celebratory lunch menu for families to celebrate with moms. Diners can indulge in a four-course set menu with signatures such as duck foie gras terrine, with French strawberries and pistachio vinaigrette and roasted French pigeon with green asparagus and grilled raspberries. Chaneton’s new kids menu presents a unique confit Obsiblue prawns with avocado mousse and orange, as well as Nova Scotia lobster ravioli with courgettes and crustacean sauce. Both menus end with a special festive dessert of strawberries with vanilla chiboust and lemon yoghurt sherbet, created by the hotel’s executive pastry chef Alain Guillet. The adult set menu is priced at HK$980 per person, while kids menu is priced at HK$680 per child. Children can also team up with the hotel’s in-house florists to create a bespoke floral arrangement for moms as a sweet surprise.
