Collaborating with Yenn Wong, the 22 Ships chef will open the family-style concept in Sai Ying Pun tentatively in May 2016

After the success of 22 Ships, the Ship Street restaurant’s executive chef Nathan Green is collaborating with Yenn Wong in his new restaurant concept named Rhoda, tentatively opening its doors in May this year.

Taking after the success of Ham & Sherry, Chachawan, Fish School, and most recently, Mak Mak, chef Nathan Green is collaborating with Yenn Wong in creating his new restaurant, which is named after the chef’s grandmother. The restaurant will showcase contemporary and urban interiors by Joyce Wang, while the space itself will introduce a casual vibe for family-style dining.

Formerly a butcher himself, chef Green’s familiarity in meat is showcased in the menu at Rhoda, with nose-to-tail dishes that feature various meat cuts and offal. With an extensive use of locally sourced ingredients — including homegrown herbs, vegetables, and fresh dairy from the New Territories, the beverage list will include a wide selection of beers and wines, as well as a rare selection of port wines and calvados.

Rhoda is tentatively opening mid-May 2016 in Sai Ying Pun.
